TushBaby was created to help adults carry their little ones more comfortably and conveniently — and to help reduce the cringey pains and strains that come with the territory.
When it comes to crafting our TushBabies, we believe a safe and fair manufacturing process is as important as the final product. That's why we design our products to comply with all mandatory federal product safety regulations set forth by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). We strive to provide fair wages and working conditions for factory workers. And we subject each product to rigorous testing by independent, third-party laboratories for chemicals with chronic toxicity hazards and for sources of other risks, including physical and mechanical hazards.
So what does this mean in plain English? That all of our products are made in factories that are in compliance with fair labor laws, and all of our raw materials have gone through extensive lab testing to ensure no icky materials, sketchy substitutes, or cancer-causing agents are used in the making.
Unfortunately, some of the cheaper knock-offs on the market can't make the same claims. Please be aware that many of these similar products aren't running safety tests or following the same regulations, but they're using TushBaby videos, images, and verbiage to help validate their offerings.
