The Snug supports both face-to-face and forward-facing carrying positions for children up to 36 months or 45 lbs. The Snug can be used once your infant reaches 12lbs; it is not suitable for newborn use.
When not in use, The Snug easily folds up to store under the seat storage pocket of the Tushbaby hip seat. Tushbaby hip seat sold separately here.

"This addition to the tush baby has been a lifesaver for having two other kids to tend to. I feel supported and can be more hands free. Two things I wish were a little better though: 1. They had a mesh material that was more breathable for baby and me. 2. You could lift your arms above your head without the whole shoulder coming up."

"I’ve had my TushBaby for about two weeks, but only used it for about a week once I received the extender. Even with such minimal use, it’s already showing noticeable wear and tear, which shouldn’t be happening this early. It’s also disappointing that the item stores in the same pocket many people rely on instead of a diaper bag, which makes the setup less convenient. Overall, the concept is great, but there are some design flaws that need improvement. I’m really bummed about the quality."
"Didn't think the hip seat could improve but here we are! Love this addition - we used it primarily over the course of an 8-day music festival for our 8mo and it was a lifesaver for our wrists during nap time. We also used it forward facing and it was great! Would love if on the crossbody strap there was a place to tuck it in, or a hook on the drawstring bag. I'm sure it could tuck into the front pocket but we were using that for a diaper bag :)"
"I’m so glad I bought this for my husband after debating for a long time if I should buy it or not. My husband has been complaining regular carriers are hurting his back and the material was too rough for my baby’s sensitive skin. But the tush baby hip carrier along with the hands fee carrier is such a game changer. My husband said his back no longer hurts and can go on carrying our baby much longer. The hands free carrier is so soft that I no longer see any marks on my baby. Best thing I’ve bought for my baby; definitely worth it!"
"I wish the seat was a little bit wider. By child is 5months and pretty heavy, and I feel like we won’t be able to use it until he’s 3 as advertised. With that being said, I love the fabric, and I love how convenient it is. It is really saving my back and arms."
"Love love love it!! I used it for 4hrs over the weekend and it didnt kill my back. I love the jaguar print and the feel of the fabric. It didnt make us hot and sweaty. The hip seat did everything that I needed it to do. I was able to get everything on and off including baby solo and as a mom to 4 and being by herself most of the time its important to get baby strapped to you without needing help and extra hands. I'm petite and my 3m old baby is hitting 13lb + its been wks since we weighed him and wearing him puts so much strain on my back after about 20-30mins. I have multiple wraps and carriers and they all just leave me hurting. After testing this combo out I'm happy to say I found the perfect carrier for extended wear time. I highly recommend the combo to anyone having the same issues as me."

The hands free attachment was so soft and easy to put on with one hand while using the other to support. The directions have pictures and words to clarify step by step. Baby slept comfortably. The bottom Tush Baby took a little more getting used to with where to situate it on my waist and the added weight with baby sitting on it. Overall would recommend and will use for future outings."
