The Snug supports both face-to-face and forward-facing carrying positions for children up to 36 months or 45 lbs. The Snug can be used once your infant reaches 12lbs; it is not suitable for newborn use.
When not in use, The Snug easily folds up to store under the seat storage pocket of the Tushbaby hip seat. Tushbaby hip seat sold separately here.

"I've been using the tush baby hip carrier for a couple of years and it has been wonderful. Lately I've needed to be more hands-free with my new baby so I decided to give the attachment a try and it has seriously changed things for the better. "Batman would be no match for a mom or dad with a tushbaby carrier. Can’t recommend enough! Only thing I didn’t know was that there is no shoulder strap for purse mode that comes with it. You have to accessorize separately. Otherwise very pleased!"
"I’ve had my TushBaby for about two weeks, but only used it for about a week once I received the extender. Even with such minimal use, it’s already showing noticeable wear and tear, which shouldn’t be happening this early. It’s also disappointing that the item stores in the same pocket many people rely on instead of a diaper bag, which makes the setup less convenient. Overall, the concept is great, but there are some design flaws that need improvement. I’m really bummed about the quality."
"My husband was actually the one to initially purchase our Tushbaby hip carrier. We really love it for world-facing in short spurts because currently that is our daughter’s favorite way to be held in our arms and the Tushbaby takes the strain off our wrists and arms. While I love it for the eased pressure, I needed something that allowed me to carry her hands-free so I could start keeping up with chores again, which is when I heard about the hands-free attachment. This attachment has been very helpful in helping me get some things done around the house and on short potty walks with our dog. That being said, it’s not the most supportive material, stretches easily, and isn’t very breathable. I wish it had a bit more support as my daughter currently bounces and shifts around quite a lot because of the stretchiness of the fabric, even with straps tightened. In addition, the carrier as a whole does start to cause me some low back pain if I try using it for longer walks or for more than 10 or so minutes at a time. Despite the drawbacks, I still am glad I have it and use it weekly to help me get things done."
"Didn't think the hip seat could improve but here we are! Love this addition - we used it primarily over the course of an 8-day music festival for our 8mo and it was a lifesaver for our wrists during nap time. We also used it forward facing and it was great! Would love if on the crossbody strap there was a place to tuck it in, or a hook on the drawstring bag. I'm sure it could tuck into the front pocket but we were using that for a diaper bag :)"
