• Can you use a tote bag as a diaper bag?

• Can I use a diaper tote bag for the hospital?

• What should you pack in your hospital tote bag?

  When it comes to packing your bag for the hospital, put yourself first. Meaning, whatever will make you feel comfortable is what you should bring. That goes for personal items like moisturizer or makeup, cozy socks, your iPad, any medication you might need, and essentials like chocolate and candy to snack on between contractions.   You don’t need to pack things like diapers and wipes for baby (the hospital will hook you up) or underwear for yourself (you’ll be thankful to have the humungous ones the hospital will provide). Don’t take up extra space as you’ll likely be heading home with a bit more than you show up with — including your new baby!
